All the workers have a right to work in places where risks to there health are controlled.Yr employer is responsible for your health and safety,for making sure you arn't hurt while doing your job and that you dont get ill because of your job, but also your responsibility to look after your own health and safety.

 

Management of Health and Safety at work (Amendment) Regulations 1994

These regulations require employers including self-employed people, to ensure that risk assessments have been carried out so that emplyees and people associated with a business or a place of work are adequatley protected. These regulations cover a world wide range of scenarios including those relating to young people and expectant mothers and imminent or serious danger.

 

Control of Substances Hazardous To Health 2002 

Using Chemicals or other hazardous substances at work can put peoples health at risk so this law requires employers to control exposure to hazerdous substances and protect both employees and others who may be exposed to them to prevent ill health.

 

Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981

These Regulations require employers to provide adequate and apporiate equipment facilities and personal to enable first aid to be given to empoyees if they are injured or become ill at work. These regulations apply to do all workplaces including the self-employed and those with fewer than five empoyees.

 

Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975

Following a number of major accidents at sports grounds it became clear that the strcture and managment of these venues needed to be controlled. This act placed control with the local authorities and the Fire Safety and safety or places of sports act 1987 made it duty of local authorities to enforce the act.

 

The Children Act 2004

This act supports the goverment every child matters programme which was designed to ensure that all organizations involved in safeguarding children- including district councils, Primary care Trusts, youth offending teams and schools- work together to improve the well being of all young people.


Rules to prevent injury

There are rules to prevent injury in the game football one of them is no fouling as this can make you injured and can cause serious injury's. Also people can get legs broken and be out for seasons it ruins people careers. Another rule to stop injury is no metal studs as this can injury players by getting there foot stamped on and cause there are metal studs it can break bones in your feet to put you out of action for quite a long time. That is why they are making the officials check all of the players boots to prevent injury. More over another rule is that you have to wear shin pads when playing as it is to make sure you do not injure yourself. The officials will make sure that you are wearing the skin pads and if you do not use them you will be unable to play. Finally they make sure that there is no fighting so that people will not get injured and involved in fighting.
